Wear Ring

A piston bearing made of fiber reinforced phenolic resin that exhibits excellent load tolerance.

Prevents gripping and rubbing of the piston which may be integrally attached to a groove. It is used in hydraulic low pressure pressure cylinders and pneumatic cylinders.

Cat wear rings guide hydraulic pistons or rods to maintain alignment and prevent metal-to-metal contact, reducing wear and maintaining even pressure distribution over the seals.

Used, as necessary, to service hydraulic cylinder components and prevent equipment leaks.
